A monthly dinner series in 2025 with Australia’s most iconic wineries.

For one night every month, Milk Beach Soho will partner with an iconic Australian winery to showcase a selection of their wines alongside a bespoke three course sharing menu by Executive Chef Leonard Swan. 

Each evening will be hosted by Wilem Powell (Head Sommelier from 2022 to 2024 at Peter Gilmore’s seminal Sydney restaurant, Quay) alongside a representative ambassador, owner or winemaker from the winery. Spaces are limited with up to 20 seats per event across two large tables, providing an intimate setting for guests to indulge in the very best of Australian wine.

Toast Australia - Torbreck Vinters

Wednesday 26th February 2025 - 6:30pm start - Milk Beach Soho

£135 per person

We are thrilled to be partnering with Torbreck Vintners, one of Australia's most esteemed wine producers. Torbreck pays homage to the Barossa Valley's rich viticultural heritage, home to some of the oldest vines on the planet.

Joining us from Barossa to host the evening is Sacha Timaeus, Torbreck’s export manager. He brings with him an intimate knowledge of the winery and their historic vineyards, having spent over half a decade sharing Torbreck’s story around the globe.

The evening will feature a curated selection of Torbreck's acclaimed wines, paired with a three course meal from Milk Beach Executive Chef Leonard Swan.

Toast Australia - Yangarra Estate Vineyard

Tuesday 25th March 2025 - 6:30pm start - Milk Beach Soho

This event will showcase Yangarra Estate Vineyard located in the heart of McLaren Vale, South Australia. Yangarra is renowned for crafting wines that express the unique character of its single-vineyard estate, where Grenache takes centre stage alongside other Rhône-inspired varietals.

Hosting the evening is Michele Fazari, prestige account manager at Jackson Family wines. Michele spent years as a sommelier working with some of Europe’s greatest wine lists, before taking on a role representing the star studded portfolio of Jackson Family Wines.

The evening will feature a curated selection of Yangarra’s acclaimed wines, paired with a three course meal from Milk Beach Executive Chef Leonard Swan, available upon request.

Toast Australia - Shaw + Smith

Wednesday 30th April 2025 - 6:30pm start - Milk Beach Soho

We’re thrilled to be joined by Michael Hill-Smith MW, sixth generation winemaker who broke off from his family’s wine legacy to forge his own. He established Shaw + Smith with cousin Martin Shaw in 1990, at a time when the Adelaide Hills was little known as the fine wine destination it is today. Today, alongside Shaw + Smith, Michael also owns Tolpuddle (Tasmania), MMAD Vineyard (McLaren Vale) and The Other Wine Co.

The evening will feature a curated selection of wines from these celebrated wineries, paired with a three course meal from Milk Beach Executive Chef Leonard Swan.

This event will feature Penfolds, an iconic Australian winery with a rich heritage dating back to 1844. Known for its pioneering spirit and exceptional craftsmanship, Penfolds creates wines that showcase the diversity of Australia’s renowned wine regions Barossa Valley, McLaren Vale, and Coonawarra. From bold Shiraz to elegant Cabernet Sauvignon blends, Penfolds is celebrated for its unwavering dedication to quality and its ability to produce wines that transcend time.

Our next Toast Australia event will spotlight the iconic wines of Brokenwood, one of Australia’s most celebrated wineries. Established in 1970 in the heart of Hunter Valley, NSW, Brokenwood has built a global reputation for crafting premium wines that embody the spirit of their unique terroir, with a particular focus on their renowned Semillon and Shiraz varietals.

The evening will feature a specially selected collection of Brokenwood’s award-winning wines, paired with a three course meal from Milk Beach Executive Chef Leonard Swan.

Toast Australia - Handpicked Wines

Wednesday 16th July 2025 - 6:30pm start - Milk Beach Soho

An evening with Handpicked Wines, a renowned Australian winery that crafts premium wines from iconic regions like Mornington Peninsula, Yarra Valley, and Barossa Valley.

Joining us to host will be Toby Spiers, who has decades of experience flying the Australian flag throughout Europe, proudly working with some of Australia’s leading brands such as House of Arras (Tasmania) alongside the incredibly exciting Handpicked Wines, which he’ll be talking through in detail on the night, showcasing the diversity of Australia’s cool climate winemaking.
